Some pictures of Barking

Here are some pictures I took of Barking Town Centre using my new Nokia N82 mobile phone. A pretty decent cameraphone as you can see. Never going to challenge a big boy Nikon for sure, but I don't have deep enough pockets, literally and metaphorically, for one of those.


Chequered floors and gold chandeliers, this is the cloistered environment of Barking Square.
The sun shines on the far side offices and flats of Barking Square, Central Barking.

Above the cloisters, these funky green-to-yellow balconies certainly can't be missed and make, in my opinion, a pleasing sight for a town characterised by its tradition (and let's face it, quite a bit of 60s drabness).
